We have three daughters living in and around London and a son in Melbourne. We decided to make the move to be closer to our 5 grandchildren here as they grow up.

We have been attending St Barnabas since July while staying with our daughter, Dee, and family in South Ealing. We have been warmly welcomed on Sundays and feel very much at home already.

Paul and I belonged to St Thomas Church in Linden Johannesburg, where I served as an assistant priest for 14 years. St Thomas is known for its high anglican services, choir and beautiful organ music.

I've always had a twin vocation to minister and teach.

For the last 10 years I have been at St Mary’s Junior School for girls in Waverley. St Mary’s is an Anglican Church school and for the last few years I facilitated Divinity lessons across the primary school and supported the school chaplain with confirmation classes and weekly Chapel services for the staff and students.

During the years before the COVID pandemic our Johannesburg Diocesan School for Ministries asked me to facilitate a course in Christian spiritual formation for those who were studying theology and discerning a call to ministry or ordination.

I look forward to being with you at St Barnabas and thank you once again for your welcoming presence.
